Developed a squeek, then growl on the way back from Canada. Got home, jacked up the rt front, wouldn't spin 1 revolution by hand. :{

Took it to Dodge & both front wheel bearings were bad. 117k miles.

Is this gonna happen in another 120k miles or are the replacement bearings better than original?

thanks

Forrest,

I think most guys are getting a little more than 120k out of their stockers. 117k does seem a little premature? Did you have the rotors or front axle shaft u-joints replaced recently? Perhaps the hubs were damaged somehow in the process?

Howdy Cooker.

Nope, no work done up there recently. As a matter of fact, other than rotating tires, I did the 2nd set of pads some 50k miles ago.

I know Gary had one on his 3500 go about 120k ... don't know if thre is a parallel.

I'm hoping that this is not a 120k recurrance. :mad:

Just replaced Drivers front WB/Hub this weekend.

165k miles. Left seemed ok. $350 at my local dodge bank.

:eek:
