Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Head gasket, need help.

Not sure if that was a color name. I know my 99 was considered "light driftwood" it's not a bright silver and when the sun hits it at a certain angle you can see a kind of brown in it. This could be what you're calling charcoal gray?
 
You talking the interior? Mine is Slate, which I guess you could call Charcoal grey.

Exterior, no I don't think so.
 
Charcoal Gray showed up for '01. 5 or '02, the same time as Atlantic Blue I think. Driftwood disappeared at the same time, replaced with bright silver.

Hmm... I was wondering about that... my '95 is that color in the middle, two-toned with black. Part of the SLT package, I assume...
 
Yes indeed...



NO exterior gray color in the '98 model year.



I believe it wasn't until the '02 model year or possibly the '01. 5 model year that the Graphite color emerged.
