New member here trying to get my truck running. Truck starts after wts light goes out then stalls after 15-30 seconds. Will start right back up then stall again. I have a fuel pressure gauge reading 15 psi while at idle from fuel filter canister. Have another to install at the VP44 fuel inlet, just haven't gotten to it. It did have a dead pedal problem so I replaced the APPS sensor. It hasn't been right since. ECM or VP44

Any thoughts would be helpful
 
Do you have any trouble codes? I think you can read codes using your odometer on the truck. Turn the key on three times and leave it on the third time. Then look at the odometer and see if there are codes. The vehicle computer will be checked first, followed by the ECU (engine computer). If this feature is unavailable for the 99 year, then the odometer will remain unchanged.

Thanks to all that read and replied with Ideas. Blue Chip Diesel is helping me to rectify the problem. I will post the outcome when completed :)
