I'm building a box for my 99 quad cab. It basically runs the length from side to side under the rear seat. The box is constructed, but I'm going to have to put the rear seat on risers unless I can figure out how to compensate for the gigantic bulge between the transmission tunnel and the rear of the cab. I'm "THINKING" that I can cut a square out of the bottom of the WEDGE style box that I've made and fiberglass in a panel that is shaped like the bulge. The problem is however that I'm not sure how to get the shape I want. Since the box is already constructed, I can't simply lay the bottom in the cab with a hole cut in it and glass it in place. I've somehow got to get the basic shape and glass it from the outside of the box. I had almost exactly the right ammount of MDF left over from other projects to construct the box, and really don't want to buy another sheet and start over again.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
