I seem to be having issues with my blower not switching from say defrost to floor. When its on floor it still blows out of the defrost and then takes a while to switch back to defrost of head area either one... . any ideas?!

There is an issue with the vent door's failing, do a search on it. Mine failed on my 04. 5 at 55K, even after complaining to the service writer when the truck was new that we seem to be getting outside air, I was told that the new trucks get more outside air as a design. BS, it turned out to be the vent door from day one and the dealer was embarrassed and split the bill with me. I thought that Dodge for the most part fixed this problem in the newer trucks, in 07 that is, being that the newer trucks at that time, I sure hope so anyway because I own an 07 C&C.

The vent door problem was mostly fixed with the dual climate controls. If you have single controls, you're still in the same boat as the rest of us. I recommend removing the heater box and changing all the doors to metal heatertreater doors.

From heater treater website:
Mode Door 1.

a. This door regulates air flow to either the dash vents or defrost/floor. If you have air flowing only through the vents with no defrost or floor, this door is failing. From our experience, this door is usually the first domino to fail. Not sure why, just is.

4. Mode Door 2.

a. When mode door 1 is set to divert air away from the vents and into the second stage of the system, door #2 chooses whether air goes to the defrost vents to the windshield or out through the floor vents in the passenger and driver's side footwells. Failure is indicated by an inability to choose between defrost and floor.

Awesome thank you guys!!! I have the same problem with Dodge. $140 isn't too bad of a fix. It's only one door now but might as well change both while I'm in there

take my advice. pull the whole box and change every single door. if you have anything other than standard single controls, call them on the phone to order.
