Sorry guys, I was on here the other day and found a thread on this but today I cant find it. My problem is sometimes the fan motor for the ac will not come on. I have noticed that when this happens, the light for the compressor is on and stays on no matter if I turn the ac off. While this is happening, I can feel cold air coming out the vents when at hi-way speed. The thread I was looking at, pointed to something in the steering column. Can someone get me back to that thread or tell me what is wrong?
This is on the 07

First thing to check is the blower motor. It is under the dah on the passenger side. Give it a tap,it may start. from there if it does not come back on start testing

I will interpret for Bob, dah= dash, and while the truck is running with AC on use a test light at the motor and see if you are getting power to it. :D

Mine was doing the same thing.

The blower motor connector was toast. Had power and good ground there, but one of the female blade connectors was sprung

I soldered on some new female blade connectors as a quick fix and it now works fine. .

Update
It finnally quite and was able to chase it down to the blower motor connector on the motor its self.

I had this exact issue a few years ago and hunted relentlessly until I finally replaced the blower motor. It is a fairly common problem on 3rd gens and I bet it is your problem as well.
