I found this truck at our local Holidome last night when I was doing motel checks. It had an Oklahoma license plate. An automatic with gray cloth interior. The overall truck was nice and straight, showed 174,000 miles. It looked like somebody had just coated or painted the frame, suspension and axles. Wish I could have hauled her home, but I am sure somebody would have been upset if it was gone this morning. I had court and training, so I could not wait for the sunrise. Glen

WOW. THAT is a handsome truck.

You actually looked into the truck to see the transmission type AND mileage??!!?????

That's funny. I don't think I would have tried that. I seldom even take a look let alone take pics and look INTO the truck. Funny that is.

PS I only say this cuz I myself get real nervous when I see folks poking 'round my truck when I ain't standing right there next to it.

I'm a cop, I was checking the motel lots for vehicle burglaries. At 3:30 in the morning, there are not many people that are going to walk up to a police car and tell them to leave the motel lot. As far as looking inside, we routinely check vehicles for open signs of drug activity. This one especially as it had no front tag and was backed into the fence. By the way, it had a newer bench seat with a console. Glen :) :)

WOW. Cool.

Could have pulled some legalistic out-of-state lingo on the guy and tell him you have to take it for a test drive... ... ... ... ... ... ..... no?... ... ... ... . confiscated it perhaps?

Well it's a nice rig. My favorite brand.

Yeterday I dropped by the local Fire Dep and the Capt. struck up a conversation with me 'bout them Dodge Diesels. Turns out he has one but knows nothing about the TDR. He has only straight piped his and was very interested in knowing there is a club. I'll be back in the fire dept today and will lay a TRD brocure on him. :)

This truck is from Colorado, it spends most of it's time here in Salina though. I do not know who owns it, but it is a nice looking club cab. 238000 and an automatic. He has recently spent a ton on all new leaf springs, shocks, tires, wheels and brake lines it looks like. Pretty solid, clean old truck.

GL, It is funny you would mention a Cummins at the fire station. One of our retired division chiefs bought a W250 new, I am guess in 92 or 93 and drove it to work everyday until he retired. That old truck has pulled horse and cattle trailers all over the midwest. He was a rancher that supplemented his income with fire department pay. Through the years he made it up in the ranks. A great guy, I know where he lives, I should go grab a photo of his truck. Glen

Looks neat with that painted grill and plain bumper

We have a white dually white graphics and a white grill like that running around town, a beautiful truck. I will try to catch it and post a couple of photos. Glen
