Can you run different tire sizes on the AAM LSD? I know you can't on a clutch type LSD like the Dana rears on the older gens. My spare is stock size and I'm running 315s on the 06. I want to know in the event of a rear flat if I would need to put the spare in the front.

Actually, you will also tear up the front diff, even though it is open. It should be OK for a short distance but once the spider gears in there are at work all the time because of the tire size/speed differential, it can be very hard on parts due to the heat generated. When you are going straight ahead, those gears don't do anything. Running the diff all the time will wear it out. The best answer is a like size spare. None of them are designed for constant load like you would have with a 315 on one side and a 265 on the other.

What do you mean a short distance?

25 miles?

If not loaded couldnt you just air down the 315 to be aprox the same distance rim to road as the other and air up the other?
