Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Abs and Brake light still on after WSS replacement

My problem is that i still have my Abs and Brake light still on after I changed the Wheel Speed Sensor in the top of the diff. I have heard that there are two sensors in the front but I cannot seem to find them, I have done a search on here for a fix but I have done most everything that was mentioned prior. Also I replaced both of my computers to properly finish my conversion and that is when it started happening. So is it one of the computers on the fritz or is there something else, I have checked for code but nothing comes up. So what advice do you guys have on this? I can send the computers back if they dont work right since I bought them used and by the way they came off of the same truck.

you should have it scanned to see what codes are set before you start guessing at too many parts

I used a smarty to scan for codes but nothing came up.

did you use the smarty to clear the codes? abs codes can set and not be read in all cases.

I had the same prob. Ended up a LF sensor was bad. 40 bucks @ the dealer.

I also tried clearing the codes but it was only a temporary fix, they would come back on in a short while. Where are the front sensors located at?

pull the front rotors off and you'll see the front sensors on top of the hub/wheel bearing assy. If the lights are on there's a code set.
