Neighbor just loaned new what looks like a nice set of gauges for AC test. It has the R134a adapters and everything. He doesn't know much about it, it was left behind when one of his roomates moved out.
What is the correct way to test the high and low side pressures. I can only get a vent temp in the low 50's when it is hot out. I can hit 50F at night or when it isn't too hot.
I think I may have the dreaded evaporator leak. Checked all fittings, lines and compressor and no evidence of leakage. Compressor seems to cycle fairly often.
