adding fog lights to an 04

I found an 04 QC that I really like. It does not have fog lights and wondering if the wiring is there and all I need is the lights and a switch. Thanks.

Yes it is. I did the exact same thing to mine. Look in the left front fender well and you will find a wiring harness that doesn't connect to anything.



You need the lights and the harness that goes between the lights and connects to the harness above. It took about 30 minutes for me to install the lights, and another 5 to change the headlight switch.



I have a Ranch Hand bumper on my truck. If yours has the stock bumper, you might want the plastic bezels that go around the fog lights.

I added a set of PIAAs to my 04, using the stock harness, located at the left fenderwell, as PawPaw said above. I used the stock wiring to fire the PIAA relay, so it wouldn't blow any fuses, and bought a factory switch from the dealer for so mine works like factory lights. Been on there since 03 and no problems.

I just purchased a set of 520 ion piaa fogs for my bull bars. My 04 has driving lights stock. what wires would you suggest I connect my lighting kit too? The kit comes with relay and switch to mount inside cab.

Added OEM fogs to my 04. 5. Got the light kit off E-Bay. Came with wire harness, switch and bezels. Had to hunt a bit for the connection in front of the left front fender but its there. Easy job.
