I have been searching for a way to add switches to the dash of my '05 Laramie and have not had much luck. Any photo's of accessory switches would be appreciated if you have this style of dash.

I used the ash tray door take the tray out plenty of room to wire three toggel switches i will try to get a picture

I put mine in the knee bolster, down and to the right of the steering wheel. I used the flat style of rocker switch instead of a regular toggle switch that would stick out.

I too thought about the ashtray. I was thinking of pulling out the ashtray insert and fabricating a piece of flat plastic then mounting a few round rocker switches on it. Then glue the flat plastic plate in the ashtray. You could close the ashtray when the switches were not needed for a clean look. Anyone done this?

I use rocker switches with a colored led and put mine on the bezel right below and to the right of w the oem light switch... you can pull the switch for easy access to the wiring.

I used this too, just have to be cognisant of the type of switch used(like LW stated above), maybe something with a guard, because it is easy to bump them with your knees. It is by far the easiest panel to utilize, and lot's of room.

I used the panel at the bottom of the center stack. It is the wrap around at the carpet level. I put my switch and light on the left end closest to me. The panel comes off easily and there is enough room for relays on the right side. I have the old style "lever" 4wd on the floor but there is still plenty of room for my hand. The switch I have mounted there is for auxillary reverse lights.

I have the same dash, except it's woodgrain, in my 03 so I put one switch, with a long lever on it so I don't have to fumble with it, in the knee panel under the steering column beside my brake control and 4 in my console extension I got from Geno's

And yes, they all work... ... . :D

I rode in the truck and I seen it with my own eyes!!!!!!!!

That is a very clever solution, by the way.

You can use the area on the dash between your heated seat buttons. I do not have heated seats and that is where I have four switches located.

The dash has 2 fake rocker switch bumps between the heated seat switches as you can see in my photo. These were for the Power Wagon model and no switches are available from the dealer for this location. Do you have any pictures of exactly where your switches are located? That would be a big help.
Thanks.

The previous owner put this together, but he said that it was based off the heated seat switch plate that you currently have. My truck came with the factory cubby hole in that spot.
