From the comments on this thread I think it will give a sound that I may not like. The kit is $259 and a full 4" exhaust is a little over $400. On a $35K truck, a buck and a half is not too much $$$ to spend for what you want... ... ... ..... "If it is not exactly what you want, it's not a good deal no matter what you paid for it"! barry,

If you want to make yours a full 4" kit, I can send you the down pipe and other parts and you can send me back everything but the Aeroturbine. If you want to do this and it helps you out, I am happy to do it.

Just wanted to post a little update for those that might be interested. Had a chance to tow a little with the new exhaust today and am very happy with the results. Before towing the lighter of my Jeeps (about 13k GCW), I had no problem hitting 1200* on the EGT while going up hill in 5th gear. Now with the new exhaust, same situation but the heavier Jeep (about 14,300 GCW), I could not get the EGT over 1150*.

:D :D

erslll,

How loud is it towing, especally up hill under a good load? I haven't had a chance to tow yet and In am concerened that it may be too loud when under a good load.

I like mine pretty well except for that bark. Under full throttle acceleration I get a really good bark at1900-2000 rpm. Does anyone know what causes this? Does anyone have any idea on how to eliminate it? That big red dually draws enough attention to itself all ready without the noise.

I don't think it was much louder than it would have been without a load. I guess I am not real sure. I was paying attention to the EGT and not really thinking about the noise.
