Lol, agreed! Having lost most of my hair after high school, I now just squeegee the oil off but it still is not fun.

I am losing fast, wife doesn't like my shaved head, says I could be on America's Most Wanted......I don't know if that was a compliment or not.

The OEM cover is also with out RTV, it has a reusable o-ring gasket from factory.

Is that on both the front and rear? That would save me the cost of rtv.

^^^ yes....not so much an O-ring, but both oem covers seal with a nice, thick reusable gasket,

Yes, both Ends have that seal.
Sadly the 68RFE doesn't have that anymore like the 48RE had, there you need RTV.

It is plastic and the both thin lines that go around are rubber, like 2 O-rings.
