AFE with hood factory hood insulation

Has anyone had issues with the AFE air intake kit not fitting with the 04 with the Factory hood insulation kit? I put my insulation on yesterday and the passenger side hood is sticking up more than the driver side? has anyone else had this issue??? maybe have to trim the top edge of the intake set up. Thanks guys ant info is greatly appreciated.
