I have the Rancho rectangular control arms. If they were 1/2" longer, I would be happier, because I wouldn't rub in tight turns & uneven ground. As far as I know, they are only available with the 2" spacer kit to level the truck. It didn't level it, it needs more like 3" for that.

The Carli Suspension arms are 1/2" longer and are available separate from their kits. Check them out.

Ted - I think I found the thread during a search for "control arms" so I wasn't paying attention to dates. There I go thinking again . . .

I am waiting for my Carli arms to come back from the powder coater. I am very impressed with the joints he is using. They are adjustable for wear also. And no they are not Johny joints-higher quality!

Give Sage a call on the 2nd Gen availability.

He just installed his kit on my 05 and we went with 3" Kings... ... ... . it is amazing I was beating bikes through the whoops at the sand drags last wk-end.

Baja Mike,

The only control arms I saw from Carli were for 3rd gens. . They look like they are well built, no pricing either...

The 2nd Gens are not on the website right now because he just released them about 2 weeks ago. The first set is going on Desert Bull's truck to go pre run the Baja 1000 for some extensive R&D testing :-laf . Give Sage a call, I'm sure he'd be more than happy to answer any other questions.

What are the benefits of having a non-adjustable control arm. I am looking at the skyjackers posted in this thread and wanted to know if they are really non-adjustable and am I am going to rip these off at some point because I cannot adjust the caster.

Some of it is also when you go up, the axle comes back. If you are running large tires they can get into the fender. Adjustable arms push the axle back forward helping this. Not an issue with my dually as it still has 235/85 tires
