Competition Shhh quite down you gasser! You're not that fast!

Why isn't there an aftermarket head for the cummins? Couldn't someone come up with an aftermarket head for close to or less than the cost of port, polish, o-ring, possible machining of intake and custom intake manifold (zzfab for example).

There has to be room for improvement. Lift, flow, etc?

Has anyone tried to contact a head manufacturer for this type of undertaking?

Curiosity Kills the Cat... ... or the piggy bank!

People by aftermarket small block Chevy heads all day long. There are plenty of people that would buy an aftermarket Cummins head if it had documented dyno gains.

There are a very few that are willing to carve one out of billet, yet the startup costs would exceed 10K+ ... ..... I wish an aftermarket company would design and cast a revised version with extra meat to work with. Fitment might be a big concern as well as demand. Not a lot of people would step up to that number.

We could all collect pop bottles. I just wanna SEE a picture of a billet inline six Cummins head!

When I walked past the ATS booth at Indy, I took the two DuraMax heads and lined them end to end. They got mad at me so I bought a T-shirt.

A guy can dream, can't he. :-laf

I would like someone to even cast a new one that flows better. I don't need a billet one.
I am working on a build and am cringing at the $$$ for a worth while port, polish, 0-ring etc.

I spoke with a company that's part of Summit, and they said it would cost me $80-100,000 for them to build a small run of them. Then, the cost would be much less for the rest. . I just don't have the funds. .
