It is time to replace my tires again, and I am searching for a good set. I started with Michelin A/S's (factory) which lasted 40,000. Then Yokohama's Superdigger IV - 18,000 and they were worn out
, but they were great in mud. Next was Michelin XPS tractions, good in mud, good on road, 75,000 miles, but winter came (moved to Ohio) and they had no snow traction. I have a set of BFG Commercial T/A tractions (rated for snow) now and the truck won't track straight and handles like a boat.
What tires and brands are being used heavily off/on road with towing?
Thanks for any input.
Jeff
PS - I am in the mud and the snow while pulling the trailer about 20% of the time, so traction is very important!
