Installed a new AGR Steering box this weekend and can happily say that my truck is driving straight down the road again without wandering from side to side. I think it is well worth the price when I hooked up my 26' gooseneck trailer and but my tractor with the front end loader on it and did not have a problem driving at highway speeds. No more fighting the wheel for me. Anyone looking to fix their steering wander should definately look into this box. It is a GM box that has had a thrid bearing and a different type of bearing used in it for our heavier diesels.

HI, sounds great. Where did you get it and how much. I have replaced all the shady factory parts myself. My truck is tracking good but it seems as tho when I correct it I am moving the wheel quite a ways before any response.

Weren't there two models? A quick ratio and a standard. Which one did you get? How was the install?---TIA---dave

I bought it direct from AGR and it was 384 with shipping. Contact them and tell them you have a ram with a cummins and they have a special box for us. It has a different type of bearing and they have added a thrid bearing on the main shaft to help handle the weight. It is a new GM Steering box that has been beefed up for us.

I'm on my second AGR box. The first one they sent wasn't right. This box is better, much quicker response, with less steering input. The pitman shaft has developed some play in a short amount of time. Don't know if I have the same one Morphious talked about with the third bearing. The worst part was their customer service. It took 3-4 months to get my core charges back and they still shorted me $20. After numerous phone calls and plenty of waiting, I finally gave up.

DRT There are two models- the superbox1 and the superbox2 the sb1 is basically for trail use only the sb2 has the variable assist sport feel for highway driving.

Terminator I know what you mean about trying to get your core money back,it took 2 months to get mine, also after replacing the first agr box with another, they billed my credit card another $350 and that took 3 months to clear up. I had to go thru my credit card company to get that resolved. Now 4 agr boxes later and still no real improvement in steering. Last week I broke down and spent another $350 for agrs rock ram piston assembly. Last night I welded the bracket for the ram on the front axle and tierod. Keep your fingers crossed for me I hope this finally fixes my problems.
