OK... this is getting old. Ive replaced the sealing washers on the pump banjo fittings, I replaced the overflow valve with the new/improved version... and the motor misses so badly that I can feel it shaking when running down the road at constant speed!! Could this be my lift pump? It really only sounds like one cylinder... Ive cleaned and inspected the injectors... . do delivery valves go bad? This all started after installing 370's... I put the 215s back in, Ive changed fuel plates... Im stumped. I am still getting over 22mpg with a crappy running engine, however!

BC,

Get a fuel pressure gauge hooked up and see what you have for pressure. If its OK, you could try cracking open an injector line at a time and see if one does not make a difference in the way the engine idles. Maybe you have a bad barrel or plunger in your pump. I doubt it. Its probably something simple.

Missing?

BCFAST,

Is the miss always present or just at certain RPMs? Have you cracked (loosend) you injector lines (while at idle of course) one at a time to identify the bad cyclinder? Warning wear safty glasses and leather gloves for this proceedure... the mighty P7100 is capable of nearly 17,000 PSI

good suggestions, guys. i will try re-bleeding the lines one at a time. . I dont have a pressure guage, so I'll start there. Will keep ya'll posted, just in case someone else has this trouble someday.

Injector change

When you changed injectors did you set the injection lines down so that no debris could enter the lines(the same way they are on the engine) and did you cover the deliverys on the injection pump??

Could be trash in there some where.
