Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Air and fuel cut off switch

I am going to pull next year and i need to make a fuel and air cut off switch. Is their a way to tap into the injection pump fuse under the hood and the drivers side. OR is their any other way to kill the pump. For the air, i have a AFE stage two intake kit. I thought about putting a stack flipper lid like they use in tractors but i dont think that it will open all of the way when the filter is on. I could run with out a filter durning pulls but i really dont want to. Is their any other way to put a air kill flap in. Thanks

Does anyone kow would a drop cord work as a cord to make the fuel cut off

To kill the fuel you have to rig up a circut to kill the power to the injection pump, I would guess that you could wire in a switch on the power to the relay.



To kill the air, I am not sure. I have seen pictures of large knife valves that are spring loaded. If you pull the cord the knife drops and shuts off the intake.



I would put a post in the competition section and maybe email Enterprise Engine or Van hasliey or Schieds. All of them know how to do this stuff and probaby sell the parts.
