Air conditioning unbalanced

My sweetheart has an '05 3500 four door model

The ac has separate controls for the driver and the passenger side. The passenger side runs about 20* warmer than the driver side. I put most of a can of "go-juice" in it a few weeks back. We went fro a ride yesterday and I watched the thermometer in the vent go up and down, but the driver side one remained steady and colder.

I put the rest of the "go-juice" in it when we got home.

I'm baffled over this, and don't have the shop manuals for her truck.

Anybody have this issue? What is causing it?

Mine was doing that. I have the separate(Laramie) control system also. I removed my existing refrigerant charge, pulled a vacuum and weighed in 1 lb. 14 oz. (as listed under hood) and it works perfectly. Since I knew it was short of gas(but by how much?), I chose this procedure.
Unless you have a bad blend door, you may still be short of gas. How much gas was in the can you put in?

It was an 18 Oz. can of "Interdynamics E-Z Chill". The rest of the can seemed to do the trick. We rode around in some 100* weather the other day and we were getting 50* air out of the ac
I did notice though that the driver side was still a few (3 or 4) degrees colder than the passenger side. Maybe the blend door needs a tuneup. We do need to get a shop manual for that truck. Way too different from my '96.
I did just buy a new Ford product that has a similar arrangement with the ac. I'll probably get the shop manuals for that first though, just so I can see what makes some of the stuff in that tick.
