I am getting air in my fuel lines. I put on a new lift pump and checked all the lines from the tank to the pump. If I bleed the air out with the manual pump I can usually get it started but it will not run long unless I am at high RMP. I am trying to figure out if it could be an injector or injector pump.

You should fill in the the truck info in the user control pannel , so we can help you , the differant yrs can have differant answers to the same ?
A generic reply may be the fuel line from tank to pump , thats a vacume so it could be be sucking air .

Do you still have your fuel preheater? They tend to be real problematic with large air leaks.

Also, how did you check your fuel lines? Many people have found that they have cracks in them that are not visible.

If you are stuck on things to do, try running a piece of fuel line from your lift pump to a small portable fuel tank full of diesel and see whether the engine will run. This will at least tell you which side of the pump your problem is.

Look at what Joe G posted, he is the real guru on the subject of air in the lines.

Usually it is your rubber fuel lines that suck in air especially the return fuel line.

I would go back over the lift pump replacement if that is when your problems started.
