 how did you install your air bags. my truck is a 1999 4x4 2500 Dodge it at stock height with overload springs do not want to remove them when did a test fit top bracket bolt holes touches the wheel well the only other way to make it fit is to lift the frame above stock height. I also have an older style pullrite 5th wheel hitch that has a bed to frame bracket in the way. any help will be great.

I just installed air lift bags, they came with space bolt to move the wheel well out of the way, but had to remove the well b4 installing the bags. I would personally remove the extra springs if they are add on so the ride with the bags will be softer and do what you want. I am now running about 50 lbs. and it ride very nice Ed

When I installed mine on the 96 (no overloads) I modified the bracket to clear the 5'er rail mountin angles. I also cut out the wheel well to clear the bags.

The bracket modification was to let the bags rest (no air pressure) with no load on the truck, this allowed me to run 0 psi with no load, 5 psi there was a noteable ride issue and it raised the bumper of the truck 2" (Not needed).

The brackets for the 07. 5 replaced the bump stops (they work OK)

A buddy of mine bought some airbags for his '00 2500. They would not fit due to the B&W hitch. He returned them and bought air shocks instead. That was about a year ago and to date he's been happy with them.
