GROW A SET!!

My buddy Tim, AKA Kowboy, had a BBQ business, and did a gig for the Bellamy Bros.

Dave Dudley is probably the king of trucker songs, like my favorite, Six Days On The Road.
Dick Curless, A Tombstone Every Mile, a trucker classic, and based in Maine!

I am like Mike W. on my song choices they run the gamete from John Anderson, Jamey Johnson, Freddy Fender, Alabama, Frank Sinatra and to the Beach Boys. I will turn off most Beatle songs as I am not a fan at all. I use Amazon music to play in my truck over my phone and than transmitted to the radio trough an FM transmitter. This works great no commercials at all.

Johnny Rodriguez, Chris LeDoux, Sammy Kershaw, Moe Bandy, Lefty Frizzel, Bob Wills, Jerry Reed, Buck Owens, Marty Robbins, Mel Tillis, Merle Haggard, oh and some Cajun music, too.

Speaking of Dick Curless.....look what popped up in my Facebook feed today..

Who remembers Maine’s own Dick Curless? His friend Dick Stacey talked to me about him and a tribute band that will be playing his music at the Bangor State Fair tomorrow night. It’s also Senior Day at the fair! More tonight on WABI TV5

I think you’ll find Mike travels the Haynesville Woods on a regular basis. It’s a very pretty ride these days. Not near as scary and lonesome as it was 50 years ago.

Install a new Radio that accepts Bluetooth, way better sound then with an FM Transmitter.

Never regreted the turn away from the RB4 to a todays Pioneer D-Din unit with all the amenities.
Works with the steering wheel controls and the OEM Amplifier.

Yea, but that takes away more $$ funds from my glamping trips. We budget all of our trips at the beginning of the year and work from those funds. When the radio dies I will than update to a new radio maybe from Crutchfield audio!
