My Lift pump is dead and after a lot of reading I have decided to order an AirDog II for the truck. But having been away from the diesel seen a while I'm not sure were to order from XDP and thoroughbred diesel keep popping up on google searches but I have no experience with either company.

I wish Chip at blue chip diesel sold airdog products as he was so helpful in diagnosing my problem via emails. If I ever need a VP44 He's the one I'LL call for sure.

Who do the members of this site recommend for Airdog sales??? XDP right now will ship it for free to Alaska were Thoroughbred will ship everything but the extra filters for free then they want to gouge me on the shipping to Alaska.

Another question has anyone used the low pressure switch sold by Chip at Blue chip diesel or the one sold for the Airdogs? Did it work well as a warning device and filter change minder?

Any experience with either of the two vendors listed would be helpful as well.

I have bought from XDP and had very good customer service. I bought a Quad product from them that sucked, and they did all they could do to help me out. Quadzilla on the other hand... .....

Hey Dude, great choice in fuel pump!

Call Matt at 573. 220. 0153 and tell him Trent sent you. He is an AirDog dealer, used to work at AirDog. He also sells Fleetguard replacement filters.

The warning light definitely gets your attention when it comes on but I would not use it as a stand alone. A fuel psi gauge is still needed because it lets you know when the filter is getting plugged up long before the light comes on.

Godspeed,
Trent
