Me too, except I don't like the "Mr. Bob's" logo painted on the hoses.

yeah, i don't much like that part either, but i wonder how hard it would be to get the paint off??? or is it molded into the silicon?

I just wanted to post an update. Earlier in this thread, I posted a photo of my boost hose which was fraying. Well, earlier this week it gave way to about 60psi boost. The entire side blew out of it at about 60psi. I obviously had to replace it.

But the important thing is that I was able to take the Mustang just before it blew. :D

I dunno,,, you guys seem to be worried about the turbocharger. I would be a heck of lot more concerned about the engine internals with the dirt ingestion. The turbo is a nit to replace as compared to the shortned engine life.

I will only run stock paper filter in my truck. I know of one well done study that showed the stock filter flowed great and cleaned the best. Guaze filters are for performance. They flow good but part of the equation is letting more dirt get buy. All too often people put off cleaning and reoiling the gauze filter. I had one once. You need to be careful and not install a freshly cleaned and oiled gauze filter without properly drying any possible "fuel" out of it before oiling it. Because of this you really need to let the filter dry overnight before oiling it or have two filters. It's so much easier to just replace with a new stock filter knowing it's the best you can get. You throw away the dirt into a trash can and start with a brand new filter. The gauze filters break down after subsequent cleanings. I like turbo whistle but I won't sacrifice clean air for it.

I just hole sawed a big hole in the bottom of my airbox.
