Found out today from the service manager at the local dealership that these new Aisin's do not like to be bumped into neutral while still rolling. He said he just came back from a training session and they firmly stated that you must NOT shift while the wheels are still turning. I have done this and got a TCM code twice. The R-N-D indicators turn orange and the transmission goes into limp mode in fourth gear and high line pressures and is painfully firm when shifting in and out of gear. Having been through this twice now, if it happens to you, just shut off the truck and start it again and it will be normal again and the engine light will go off after a half dozen or so restarts. So I've got to break the habit of bumping it into neutral before being completely stopped.
