I have been looking for a front and rear bumper to mount winchs at both ends of the truck. I like the look of these units. All I want is the Plain Jane front bumper without any brushgaurd or extra protection.

Do any of you have any experience with this company? How is the fit and finish? I called and left a message there and the gentleman called me back the same evening! Talked for about 30-40 minutes and he asked me to send him an email and he would email me with some satisfied customers in my area and a fellow who makes a pair of light brackets that would allow me to use the factory wanna be fog lights. I have sent three emails and not recieved a response.

I also sent an email to Kore about their HP Leveling Kit and recieved no response. I friggin' hate it when I have the money to spend and can't get any service. I am open to suggestions and recomendations. I use the truck to tow and get around in the mountains and I am more interested in durability and reliabilty.

IF you have negative comments, please just PM me because I do not enjoy the rip sessions that can get going out here. Thanks fo your experiences and recomendations in advance.

HMmmmm - I thought they had a pretty good reputation - and were the originators of that style bumper?

SO, how's things back in my old Vacaville stomping grounds these days?

Winch Ready Bumpers

I second the motion on Winch Ready. You start with a plain Jane which they have in stock and go from there. I spoke to Dixie at length. She's very knowledgable.

Vacaville is about the same just suffering the influx from the Bay Area. You know, its still in Kommiefornia.

How have you been, Gary?

Do a search for Alien Patrol. There is at least one other thread discussing (?) customer service, etc. Not a very pretty picture.

ahh, roger that...

not that Winch Ready is "cheap" by any means, but their prices seem halfway decent compared to some of the big names, and their customer service seems to be pretty good based on what I've seen/read on the forums

Sure DO love my polished stainless steel Reunel rear bumper. Custom lights, custom tow shackles, even a custom duel trailer plug, 20k pound tow rating. And EXCELLENT customer service from Diane, one of the owners. They do the install, too, if you can drive to their factory. I also had the bumper step Linex'd by a local shop. I would have gone with a Reunel for the front, but didnt want to load up the front end with too much extra weight, so I went with the Ute aluminum. Also, a great looking, STURDY bumper, available with a 9000# rated reciever made by Torklift. The whole unit doesn't weigh more then 150#. Of course, I haven't had time to install it myself yet--sometime this winter I'll post pics of the front, or search for Ute on TDR, there are some great pics of them. Here's a pic of the Reunel. Whenever I chuck my popup,I'd love to go with one of those Caravan campers you're running. The Dodge body will disintergrate around that sucker.

Yeah, the Caravan Camper shell is solid; the lumber rack which you can't see in the pic can easily hold 1000#. It's a great combination with the Reunel bumper;
