I too have a fair amount of experience with different trucks, different terrain, and different tire sizes. I've run everything from 44's down to 235's. I just stepped down as president of our local Toyota 4x4 rockcrawling club here in Colorado. Plenty of time in the mud and snow of northern Wisconsin.
Narrow tires have proved more useful to me overall. Certainly don't want to start a bickering match :-{} , to each his own. I know in your first post about the subject you made it clear this was your personal opinion and I just wanted to state mine
