I've seen the Blue Angles a few times.

What they can do in those jets is amazing!!

If you have a scanner you can listen to them.

In the Atlantic city show, you couldnt go on the roof tops. Not even the parking garages!! The first year after 9/11 it looked more like the Gaza than A. C. Police everywhere mostly toting M4's and MP5's. Snipers and spotters were on all of the roofs too.

As a side note, my brother works for the DoD and he could get flight certified if he chooses so. But he's not interested. Dont know what's in that boys head. :-laf
