About two months ago I posted a message concerning third gear clash when the transmission was cold i. e. below 30 degrees. I thought that maybe it was the AMSOIL 5W-30 causing the problem. Yesterday I took a chance and bought the expensive MOPAR oil and changed out the fluid. Well last night it was 5 degrees out and the truck performed perfectly this morning. . the problem is completely gone. I guess there are certain additives in the MOPAR stuff. The AMSOIL fluid which I drained still looked brand new and the filter and magnet were perfectly clean. I still use AMSOIL everywhere else and I love their product, but it isn't for the 6-speed.
