Amsoil air filter - Dealers in Des Moines, IA area?

Are there any amsoil dealers in the Des Moines, Iowa area?



I would like to look at the new stock replacement air filter for my 2006 CTD?



If they look as good "in person" as on the internet, I'd probably buy two of them.

Well I ordered one (actually two) and nobody at amsoil call tell me when it will ship.



Lesson learned, again the hard way.



I sent an email again today asking when they would be shipped. The guessing game continues.

When you ordered it, did you fill out your email address? They should send you an email from Quantum View (UPS) when it ships to whatever email address you entered when you processed your order. Sometimes these Quantum View emails are seen as SPAM by some mail servers. Check your spam box, it may be in there.

Got the email they were being shipped today. Received the Quantum view later on.

Should be here this Friday.



I'll quit complaining. Till I find something else to complain about.

Sounds good, man! I do my fair share of complaining as well, it's all good.

My wife taught me to complain. That's my story and I'm sticking too it.

I have quite perfected it yet, but I'm learning from the master.



On another note: According to UPS site, the air filters should be delivered today.

I received the AMSOIL EA189 drop in flat panel filters. I ordered two.

They have the same pleat count as the Wix air filter I swapped out. Even where the rubber seal looks identical where it was pressed/mated with the metal screen.



Uncanny that they look identical except the blue filter on the amsoil compared to the yellowish color of the Wix. It would appear they are made on the same type of equipment.
