I'v been running Rotella 15-40 for 12 years with no problems. Three trucks and three tractors. I buy it by the cases so there is always pletty around and buy the filter assortment from Genos once a year. I run Mobile-1 75-90 gear lube front and rear axles,Mobile-1 ATF transfer case, and Penziol snycromesh in the NV5600. I have not used the Amsoil products but have head good things and understood Fuller made good brushes too. ;)

Running Amsoil in my '92 BMW R100GS convinced me. The engine ran so much cooler that the carbs needed to readjusted! The blueing on the headpipes went away and you could feel the difference on your feet. Darn-------wish I still had that bike. :{ Rotella, Delvac, etc. are very good petroleum based oils, just not made for extended drains. Stuff like Royal Purple is overpriced for what you get. Not impressed.
