Rotella 15w40 cost around $1. 20 per QT.

Just got back my oil analysis 2 days ago. I have over 35,500 miles on the oil in my engine, and the analysis said, and I quote, "No corrective action required. Oil is suitable for continued use. Resample at next regular interval". I sample every 15,000 miles. I will get 50,000 miles out of this oil change. Like I have said before, use whatever oil you want to, there is no wrong way to do it. Do whatever works for you, this works for me. My last truck went over 400,000 miles and the engine was still going strong, everything else was falling apart.
