Well, 5,000 miles with Amsoil in my differentials and now I'm getting shuddering when I make tight turns from a dead stop..... Any ideas anyone? I never had this problem before! Do I need the additive? Please help, I'm starting to get ****** off here... . it is getting worse and more consistant with all tight turns left and / or right.
I run the 75w90 amsoil. I just towed up to NY Lake George, at the top of one the long climbs on the way up I stopped and checked the temps with my new laser thermometer. 185deg on the rear, 175 on the g56. Not sure if this is good or not.
I use the severe gear 80W90 and got a terrible shudder after towing 10k a few hundered miles interstate speeds. I pulled u/joints etc. no problem with them. Read some posts from the CARSON Dodge web site and added some liminted slip additive and it stopped my shudder on left turns and from a stop. Even talked to AAM whom said it wasn't needed BUT Carson Dodge says it is and I found some old posts on some sites saying the same deal I ran into.
