AMSOil Remote Bypass Filters

Installed remote bypass filter today. Was not real easy. Had to remove right side intercooler hose, air box and tube. This unit is real quality. I mounted unit under the passenger side seat. I drilled holes thru floor and bolted to under seat floor. I do have some noise from filter. I plan some kinda rubber to help shield the noise. It will make changing the main oil filter much easier.

I mounted two Frantz Filters in the same place you did. That is an ideal mounting for remote filters. Mine are doing a great job.

I took the prsssure line from the top of the Full Flow Filter and the return directly into the oil pan.



They are doing a great job.

I mounted my remote bypass filter in the box.

I ran the Oil Return into the spare Turbo Return Oil Port, See background of the SupplyOil.jpg

I made an adaptor using the Cummins Turbo Return Oil Port Nipple, ReturnOilAdaptor.jpg
