Just went to Moab for a couple days... ... drove back today... ... . around Glenwood Springs it started to shake and miss just like the last time my VP44 went out. I have a 1693(what ever that is), 0234 (boost pressure exceeded)- not a big deal with my set up..... and a 0216 (inj. pump timing failure)- which I expected.

I just put my comp and an ATS turbo on there. Has anyone has this happen to them after they put a box or any other fueling or timing upgrade on? I can only assume I will have to take the dive for a VP44. Only this time it will be coming out of my own pocket being I have a comp on there... ... da**it, just my luck... ... .

Yes, some VP's die shortly after the injection pump wire is tapped. Its a crap shoot when you tap your vp wire. P0216 is the (coming) end of your VP. Some go real soon, and others go later. But one thing you can count on is that eventually your vp will die, tapped or not.
