Another, "I got the DTT transmission upgrade and it ROCKS" Thread

First of all I'd like to congratulate Mactruck in his newly transformed Ram. I hope you are as happy with your DTT modified transmission as I am with mine.



Also, from what I have heard from TDR members here on the BB, from Bill Kondolay himself, as well as my own personal observations of Scott (massdiesel), he is a VERY competent mechanic, performs exemplary work and at a fair price to boot. When I met Scott I instantly felt like I was talking to a very honest, upfront person... someone I would definitely want to deal with and would extend my trust to. I also thought and heard the same about Fred Swanson.

Maiden Voyage

I made my first "road trip" with my new DTT.



Truck near 8k and 4k in tow. I would never have imagined how great it performs under a load. Cruise on 70 and did not even draw down going over South Pass in Wyoming. Completely "sailed" over the top. My wife commented on how much smoother and precise she felt that the truck was handling.



It's a THRILL to drive. I have to keep reminding myself that this is a HEAVY 3/4 ton truck and not a sports car! That transmission throws my truck around like it was a feather.



For the record. I discovered DTT through my mechanic - independent of the often trendy TDR forums.
