Hi everybody!! I've been a suscriber for about a year, and have been a regular lurker for almost three. I never had to post before, mainly because every time I had an issue with one of my trucks C. B. Parker would beat me to the punch with my question, and all I had to do was follow all the good advice! Sooo... when I read C. B's recent posts and noticed his frustration I thought I should give him some encouragement. C. B. - It could be worse. I have 6 tractors, 2 1st gens , 2 dodge grain trucks, 1 dozer , 1 excavator, a backhoe, and misc. implements too numerous to mentionso I can't walk 10 feet without seeing something I should have fixed a year ago!! Hope things start workin' out.

Hey there... . welcome to the ranch. I hope that your encouragement will help C_B ease down off the ceiling ;):D... . he's a bit excitable ain't he... :D:D

Ok, you know the drill... . get yerself a "signature" so we can encourage you to fix all the things are aren't broke yet.....

Welcome brother. I have the additional problem of wrenching burnout after doing it for all these years. I know you can't hire a mechanic. They don't exist any more. We do have more days of good weather down here in Georgia. I have a son that is begining to be interested in mechanical things and hope he will help some. Hope you have a good farming year. Starting out dry down here. I no longer farm but I have family still in the rat race.

If I were as high strung as CB, I would have never made it as a bull rider- I would have died as soon as one of them turned my direction or fought the chute.

Welcome to the funny farm, er, uh, I mean, um... ... RANCH, yeah that's it  Gotta love farming and ranching. Were it not for Murphy and his stupid laws, nothing would ever happen on the farm; the worst scenario always happens at the most inopportune time in the worst possible way. And to think, I want to grow up to rodeo and shoe horses. What a life that would be; never go to "work;" just get paid to do what I'd do on my days off.

WARNING

I strongly advise avoiding jrjuday's place on the weekend like the plague!

He will have you stabbing a transmission, changing a tractor tire, replacing hydraulic hoses, or putting the track back on the cat - instead of fishing :-laf
