Anti freeze additive?

Do our trucks need any kind of anti freeze additive ? My 06 has the original still in it. kp

No. Ford/Navistar 7. 3 engines required an additive to prevent high frequency cavitation that slowly ate away the casting between water jackets and cylinder bores.

No such problem exists on Cummins engines and no additives are required.

Not necessary, but I run RMI 25...
