The way I thought I understood it was they are different. I thought a LSD when it senses the one wheel is spinning, it sends the traction to the other wheel and that one tries to bite, so only one wheel spins at a time.

An Anti-spin I thought was more like a true posi, driving both wheels at the same time.

The antispin uses helical gears and is very different for a limited slip. The limited slip uses clutches under spring pressure. The only thing simular betweeen is they are desinged to keep both rear wheels spining. Other than that they are VERY different internally. The advantage to the anitspin is it has no clutches to wear out. Some of the members don't like the antispin cause sometimes it works like a open differential. After a couple of thousand of miles on my AAm antispin and i really like it. Deffinatly worth the $285. I didn't really like it at first but I think it works much better now.
