anti theft switch

I have a 2014 3500. I have factory aux switches installed. Is there an easy way to route a system wire through one of these switches to prevent theft? Would doing something like that give the onboard computers problems?

You need to tell us what trim level your truck is. A lot of them have alarms and anti theft features built in. My Laramie for instance would be pretty hard to steal without the Electronic Fob. No additional switch needed for mine.

It is a Laramie Aisin SWD 3500.

You should be able to find the info on what kind of alarm system you have in your owners manual. http://www.ramtrucks.com/en/owners/manuals/

The factory alarms should also be on your window sticker. If you don't have your window sticker a copy of your sticker can be found online using your VIN number.
