The problem with the DL is the way it works. When it is under power, the truck will go straight ahead, as both axles turn at the same speed regardless of traction. When you make a tight turn, only the inside wheel is driving, which is hard on tires and tends to want to force your truck straight ahead. Also, if your tires are not exactly the same rolling radius, the locker will tend to steer the truck toward the smaller radius. It's hell for strong and great for sled pulling, but I wouldn't want in on the street.
