BMW off road bike....SWEET!

Toys!!!!!

I have a 1952 Studebaker Champion. It`s an original car(for now) with the flathead six,od 3 speed,& not much interior. Still has the original spare, we think. Also have a 1918? Dodge Brothers Touring car, or at least most of it. Dodge is for sale? DK.

Nice DKayser, that's not a bad looking car, definitely has a lot of potential. I really like the body style they went to in '53, which they basically kept for a decade (unheard of in those days) that was the Lark, Commander, Starliner, etc. etc. I don't know a lot about them but I like their unique look and style. One of those is high on my "next car" list, behind a circa 1940 Buick coupe or sedan :D

Studes are cool!

Hey Vaughn, Weren`t you here for the Bomb party at Harold`s? I should have driven it out there then. It`s not gonna be stock after Memorial day. It will get a 318/TF and Volare clip that weekend. 5Trees had the chance to save it, but has a bias against 4 doors! DK.

Nice bunch of rides guys!

I got a 69 Bronco with dana 44/9in air lockers 4 speed most of the regular stuff. '78 bronco with 408/Nv4500/205 combo. Wifes got a pretty quick '71 challenger too. She's into drag racing-the 5K stall converter is fun in town too! Don't most guys with a cummins own them so they can pull their old toys around will the insanely low gears such that you can't drive them down the road? At least thats how it starts until you find out how much fun a modded cummins is!

"Hey, nice Jeep"

"You dont see many Scouts around"

"I didnt know they put a V8 in a Bronco II"

Man I hate that. Everywhere I go I get the nice jeep thing! It's hard not to get mad, but at least they are trying to give a complement!

I use to hang out at V8Buick and at the GSCA website when I had my big block cars. I tend to hang out at the turbo regal sites now that I have the T car.

Here's a pic of my '70 Plymouth Duster. (Hopefully - first time to try and post a pic) Minitubbed, springs moved in, 12-pt cage (finished fabbing last night), body all patched, ready to finish putty and glazing. Hope to be in paint by mid may and be running the 451 stroker by July.

My first car was a '66 Coronet. I paid $200 cash when I was 15 (couldn't even drive yet).

Then I got my '69 Coronet. Started on that one and had to part with it when I went to college.

I have no classics right now. But I'm SERIOUSLY eyeing a '67 Valiant 4dr in town that's VERY clean. If you need me to explain why I want a Valiant, you've obviously never ridden in a Big-block powered mopar A-body (Dart, Valiant, etc). It's amazing how swapping a 225 slant six for a 440, 451, or 572(!) really changes the character of the car.

No pics. Nothing worth showing off.

This is what I had restored and then played around with for a couple of years, a '70 Caddy - had a nice paint job, gold pinstriping, dual exhausts - a nifty 472 cu in V8 - and red leather interior.

Had to get rid of it to make room for my current '02 Dodge - but got LOTS of thumbs-up on the street and at car shows I entered it in...

'70 Superbird, Damn, I'm good to me!

Sweet. Still have it? Spec's? My dream car is a 1969 Daytona; I like the Charger body a bit better than the 'Runner.

No current old muscle, but had :

'68 GTS 340 Dart

'66 289 Mustang

'68 SS 396 4sp Chevelle

Love the old steel, but wouldn't trade the Princess for any of them... :D

Nice Caddy Gary.

572?? I think you mean 472 :p

YUP - dancing fingers and poor eyesight caught me again! :D

Probably a good thing I sold that Caddy - sure don't have garage space for it here in the new place - and having to run hi-test gas at 13 MPG sorta takes the fun outta the old classics and muscle cars... :(

Funny you should bring this up--a buddy back home in WA state has a '68 2 door running a 340, turns consistent 12. 60's on street tires.

Not special, just a mild engine, lotsa fun though.

Remember the "factory" Hemi Dart cars? Not technically street legal, but very quick.

Bolt on some slicks and they would run 10. 50s all day-- off the showroom floor!

A little before my time to remember them coming off the showroom floor, but I've heard lots about them.
I was lucky enough to grow up in Odessa, TX where Sewell Ford was a Total Performance dealer. Among the cars I got to sit in in their showroom and drool all over when I was a teenager:

1964 Cobra (yeah, the real one) 289 4-speed - sticker price of $5,495. 00! British Racing Green, with wire wheels and Goodyear Blue Streaks.

1965 Shelby Mustang GT350 - street and comp versions

1964 or 1965 (can't remember for sure) Fairlane Thunderbolt 427

1967 Mustang GT with 390 BHP (hydraulic lifter) 427

1968 Torino Talledega

Lots of SCJ 428 and SCJ 429 Mustangs and Torinos

Boss 429 1970 Mustang

And probably more that I've forgotten, like Boss 302 Mustangs, etc.

The most interesting was a Texas DPS Interstate pursuit car that I saw in Sewell's shop. A 1966 plain white wrapper Galaxie 4-door with full roll cage and 427 SOHC (2 Holley 4 barrels) and T&C top-loader 4 speed. It was sorta like the black helicopters - it officially never existed!! Too bad we didn't have digital cameras back then.

So, what did I wind up with? A HyPo 289/4 speed 1965 Mustang coupe. Wish I still had it! I replaced it with a 1970 Mercury Cyclone GT (351C/4V) with all the goodies when I got out of college - my wife wishes she still had that one!
