Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) any good thermostats??

Anybody know of a good theremostat for our 12V,,i keep replacing mine every 2 yeaes or so with the OEM Cummins one at about $100. 00 each and finding the same problem every time,,the rubber come appart on the side and jams it open,,,anybody use a good one that might last longer,,,
