Am I the only one that can not bear to part with a Cummins? owned all since new, love the 92 for MPG and ruggedness (speedo died at 110k 3 years ago), the 96 was my baby ordered for me and we have been cross country many times (280+k), now the 03 love the power just can't get used to it, little to long, and ride is to "cadilac" for a truck(20k)

I hated to part with my 98. 5, she was a beaut and had many good miles left on her. I missed her for about a day after I got the '03:D .

Ditto Dean. My '00 was a great truck, but I like my '03 so much better. I don't miss the rattle one bit, I love the 4 doors, the improved transmission, on and on.

Love mine. Wife calls it my "mid life crises" she can call it anything she wants, it makes me Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. !

Do miss my '93 and'97 I traded on the'03, :{ but with 22k on the new one it has grown on me!:D Still keeping an eye out for another 1st gen W250 CC though!

Well it sounds like everyone else has been selling theirs I just can't part with them and found uses for them. The 92 went out of daily service when I bought the 03 and 96 became work truck. The 92 is back up service truck and hauls my brother's catering trailer about once a month couldn't see parting with it when they would only give me 800 for a good running truck  but I got to keep it :D

After buying my 04 and selling my 01, my wife said I looked like a little boy who had just lost their puppy. I was really missing my 01 badly at first. Driving the new 04 on the way home from the dealership just didn't "feel" like you were driving a big truck! It felt like a high end car to me. After driving the new truck the next going from job to job I was convinced - THIS IS A NICE TRUCK! I haven't looked back since and have no regrets. Now it's Bomb's away!!!

It about killed me when I traded off my '01, the guilt of betraying my beloved beast who had chauffeured me to the NW Territories and provided other great memories. Driving past the dealership seeing it on the lot for 3 months was the worst but it found a new home and I talk to the new owner occasionally.

I feel all better now, and I looooove the '03. I have 23,100 miles now and went for a nice drive today with my folks. They really enjoy riding in my truck :D Absolutely no regrets trading off the '01.

XcumminsX I'm always dreaming up road trips I want to take with the '03. Not sure where I want to go in 2004 but I'm definitely going somewhere. Possibly central Alaska in late August, if not there a trip across the US or through the Canadian Rockies.

I like my 04 but feel really bad about not saying by to my 02, didn't even give it a hug. I am serious, I feel bad. I put 22,000 miles on it in 8 months and absolutely no problems at all. At least all the seats were leather in it unlike my 04 wich are only the front drivers and passengers seat. I think the 02 has gotten back at me by making sure my 04 has the dreaded drone vibration. Both of my trucks are leather interior Laramies. I had more confidence that the 02 would never let me down and if it did I might be able to fix it myself. I think the 04 is a superior truck but if I could go back 3 months, I would be driving the 02.
