We saw AJ last summer at Cheyenne Frontier Days. He's a good singer and song writer, but doesn't do much for me on stage. He doesn't really interact with the croud and doesn't really do anything but sing his songs. Still a good show. Last year we also saw Toby Keith, which was AWESOME! We just saw Chris Cagle and Brad Paisley, both were excellent shows.

Alan Jackson is one of my favorite "newer" country singers. I love that he doesn't have a "stage show" with all the flashy lights, swingin from the rafters, etc. Leave that to the rock and rollers like Tim McGraw, Garth Brooks, etc. I love my country pure and simple. A truely talented singer (artist) is much better than a singer that is more of an actor. Alan is one of the best I have seen and heard. George Strait and Brad Paisley are some of the best too. Personally, I would rather just go to a bluegrass show. LOTS of talent there... good singers and good pickers!
