If the body was cracked where the connector tube enters would the fuel return back to the tank via the head fuel return channels and have constant low rail pressure as a result?
lmills said:ifI cracked any, I won't blame it on the cp3. LOL. The only time I have seen any pressure spikes is when I let off the throttle too fast. The truck was making some starnge ticking noises coming home from the dyno event the other night. Not to mention the EGT's are taking longer to cool down and the truck is hard to start at times.
The only thing that bums me out is the truck has had issues every since I got the injectors back from being flowed. Now, since I have ran a pressure box, I am on my own if they are cracked.

If you get them from Dodge, they will cost you well over $200 more per injector, I got them from Cummins, brand new, not rebuilt. Also injectors from Cummins come with a 12 month, unlimited mileage warranty, from Dodge they come with a 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty.
The problems I have had with my fuel system lately have made me decide to have as little as possible to do with a Dodge shop and use an independent shop and get the parts directly from Cummins if I can.
lmills said:it is my understanding that even if they are cracked that bosch still wants them back.
lmills said:yep, and with that attitude you probably wonder why I deal directly with John...
