Excellent advise!!! Don't do what I did and track it every second - you'll go nuts!!!



Mine took a little over 13 weeks. I live in New Jersey and it came via boat from Vera Cruz to Baltimore.



As suggested just forget about it and you'll be getting that phone call before you know it!!! Good Luck and Congrats!!!

Do they still build any of them in the US?

Last I heard the heavy duty rams get built in Saltillo while the 1500's here in the US. However, I read somewhere DC was gearing up to buid the 2500/3500 with diesels in the US and continue the hemi's down in Saltillo. Can someone confirm this???

I ordered an '06 2500 2WD Quad Cab Laramie on Oct. 11. Dealer said four weeks, that's next Tuesday. Getting anxious, but it looks like I need to forget about it for a month or so from what I read here. New to this forum, love it and can't wait to get my truck!

I called my dealer today and my order has a serial number (vin) and he says next step is it will show when it is scheduled to be built and expected delivery date. He also said he thought most updates were done on Tuesdays so we will see come next week.

JEly, sounds like you ordered the same time as me. Maybe they will be sisters Are you getting a Mega cab or Quad cab? I did not have a VIN on Wed so maybe yours is ahead of mine.

No, you can certainly just go to a dealer and buy one off the lot. Just depends on how picky you are.

TowPro-----The one I ordered is a Flame Red Mega Cab-----I got the SLT model. The next step is build date and delivery date so hopefully I will find out soon.

When I ordered my truck, they had a website that showed the truck's status. I believe they have changed the site to not allow public consumption, as you have to have a dealership account to get in. Sorry, but like I said before, it's not worth sweating over anyhow.

Ordered my 06 2500 Quad Laramie with every option except rear entertainment and sunroof on Oct 28. Was told then don't expect it before January, restrictions on the leather buckets Then last week my salesmen called and said it was going to be built in the USA and ship date of... ... 11/15 . Is it christmas yet!!!?

Madduck, did you add the sport buckets to your Laramie or are you referring to the Stock leather seats that come in the higher end "H" Laramie. I like the Bucket seats but you can't get them with a manual.



I got a Brochure yesterday in the mail from Dodge, I can't figure out what my seats will look like since I ordered the Manual. Also in the sales brochure there is no tow ratings for the 3500 single rear wheel 2wd, Manual, 3:45 with Cummins listed. Maybe It can't tow anything

In the ram buyers guide it says Leather-trimmed low back bucket seats with a fixed center console, which to me looks like the one pictured in the sport package. I did get the auto. So I guess I will find out soon.

If your order is a Laramie with the GJ option it looks exactly like the console pictured in the link I posted below. FWIW, I ordered the same thing.

Well I found out today my new truck has a build date of 11/15----so we will see how long it takes to deliver.

I like them also, Why don't they move the cup holders in the console back to where that square hole is, then let the 6 speed shifter come out where the cup holders are. Besides, buckets were invented for stick shift cars!

I was told I could not get buckets with a stick. It would not let him place the order. So I got the 40/20/40 I am sure it is the best choice for me with kids and kids friends. I ordered mine on 10-31-05 called yesterday and was told I have a vin and will ship on 11-18-05. He told me when it ships they get a rail car #. When yours ships get the rail car # and I will trace it and tell you were it is. If it is the rright kind of # It would look something like this MCHX 078827 it will be made up of other letter and #'s.
